What is a Podcast? -
A podcast is a media file, such as music, which can be shared, listened to and downloaded from
the internet for playback on iPods, MP3 players and computers.

The word podcast is simply a mix of two words, iPod and broadcast. Put them together
and you have the podcast. The maker of podcasts is oftern called
a podcaster.
