The PTA is involved in various projects throughout the year and supports the school by:

Organising the Mid-Summer BBQ
Arranging the Christmas disco, pantomime, purchasing Christmas crackers, the presents for the younger children
Sponsoring sports day
Providing additional equipment which would not otherwise be possible from the school's budget

Everyone who is a parent or carer of a child attending Darlinghurst is automatically a member of the PTA. The Committee, which is made up of parents, support and teaching staff, meets approximately once per term and is elected at the AGM.
